Internal Grants

一道本不卡免费高清The Office of Research and the Center for Faculty Develompent oversee several internal grant competitions, offering faculty opportunities to apply for release time, travel funds and other resources.

Emeritus and Retired Faculty Association Award

The award was created by SJSU ERFA (Emeritus and Retired Faculty Association) to support scholarly research and creative activity that advance the careers of faculty applicants.

"RSCA" with Undergraduate Students

Several units on campus collaborate to provide and support opportunties for faculty to include undergraduate students in their research, scholarship and creative activity.

External Grants and Awards

一道本不卡免费高清The SJSU Research Foundation provides support to faculty as they seek to identify potential funders, as they develop proposals, and as they manage their grants, post-award. Research Foundation staff offer individual consultation and workshops on a wide variety of topics pertaining to research and scholarship. 

Grant Writing Support

Faculty are invited to explore the variety of programs and resources designed to assist them in honing their research interests, in finding collaborators and in crafting proposals.

Public Voices Fellowship

SJSU's 2020 Public Voices Fellowship marks our first entry into this national initiative aimed at dramatically increasing the public impact of women and underrepresented thought leaders. In particular, the fellowship is geared towards those who have not yet learned how to translate their scholarship to public action, ensuring that their ideas help to shape the important conversations of our age.

Organized Research Groups

Organized research and training units一道本不卡免费高清 (ORUs) are established within the University to facilitate the conduct and dissemination of research, perform public services, and provide special training. They serve to fulfill the long range needs and interests of the faculty and the university. San José State University has over 30 research units and facilities that partner industry with academic research to enhance technology, encourage development of new products, and improve education. 

Faculty Writing Program

一道本不卡免费高清With so many plates spinning, it can be difficult for faculty to make time for their scholarly and creative agendae. Several times each year, the Center partners with the Office of Graduate Studies and Research and with the King Library to offer "oases" - time and space for faculty to come and write, uninterrupted. We also offer work sessions on a variety of topics to help faculty stay current and find appropriate outlets for their work. Upon request, we can provide consulting (about library searches, research design, data analysis, and similar topics) as well as a critical-friend review of your manuscripts.
